Bio

Highly motivated writer, director, producer and editor with over 14 years dedicated to the craft of filmmaking. During this period of time, I have worked extensively to build my skillset through a fervent commitment to production, gaining a deep knowledge and understanding of directing actors, story structure, film aesthetics, visual composition and post production workflow.

I work across many genres and disciplines of moving image production, specialising in narrative led music promo and documentary. 

Within my work, I attempt to create realism that shines a light into rarely explored social territory. Showing contemplative attention to small details and conflicting human emotions. I create simple, distinct but mysterious characters and stories, each a mini portrait that builds to present a raw, unflinching, little-seen side of life.

 

I love attempting to find a relation with the audience in some way. Understanding that each person has individual characteristics that make them who they are, but at the same time every person has their humanity in common with other people.

 

I have a desire to create work that flirt with the limitations of abstraction and lie between the visible and invisible worlds where realism and surrealism merge.
